International Relations

• we organize dance workshops for our students given by renowned foreign dance teachers

• we run dance workshops for our teachers

• we take part in long-term joint choreographic projects with European dance schools

• we organize internships for 6th level students at European dance schools within the frame of the EU project Erasmus+ and at other dance schools and institutions within the frame of bilateral agreements (e.g. USA, Mexico)

• we take part in various sessions and meetings of working groups and on conferences

• we take part in exchanges and invite guest dance teachers and dancers within the frame of the Erasmus+ programme and on the basis of inter-institutional agreements

• we cooperate with international dance companies and dance festivals / our students and graduates get actively involved

KDC participation in working sessions and conferences

This participation arises from KDC's membership in international programmes and projects, in particular:

• within the EU ERASMUS programme;

  • Following its application, Konzervatoř Duncan Centre became the only conservatoire in the Czech Republic to receive the ERASMUS Charter for the period 2014–2020, and this ECHE was renewed for 2021–2027. The Erasmus+ Charter of the conservatoire for 2021–2027 is available for download here

ERASMUS+ KA1: Student and Staff Mobility

Organisational matters and related administrative work are handled by the Erasmus+ programme coordinator MgA. Veronika Šimková in cooperation with the conservatoire management and the Czech National Agency for International Education and Research (Dům zahraniční spolupráce), supported by selected teaching staff.

Within the Mobility Activities in KA131 Higher Education project, KDC implements two activities:

• student mobility (study placements SMS in the 6th year)

• staff and visiting artist mobility (staff teaching mobility STA).
