2026 Summer School

In the seminar led by dance teachers from the conservatory Zuzana Sýkorová, Dagmar Chaloupková and Veronika Kacianová and accompanied by our musicians Jiří Voběrek, Miloš Vacík and David Smrž, the participants focused on improvisation, which is a fundamental part of the Duncan method. Together, they asked themselves the following questions: How can we develop creative potential? How can natural and healthy movement be developed through improvisation? How can we work with musical accompaniment as a source of inspiration, so that it stimulates dance? How do the sources of inspiration differ for different age groups?
