Diego Alvarez is a dancer with Divadlo Studio Tanca (Slovakia). He has been involved in projects such as Milan Tomasik & Co., Ultima Vez/Wim Vandekeybus (Belgium), Fernando Hurtado Cia. (Spain), 4Pelos/Losdenmedium (Costa Rica). He creates projects with Anton Lachky (Slovakia-Belgium) and independent choreographers and dancers from various countries.
He spent four years as the director of the El Barco Conservatory in Costa Rica. He also collaborated with his brothers on the Tres Hermanos project. He is the founder of the REVES festival, which attracts dancers from around the world. In 2010, he began collaborating with Adrián Arriaga. Together they created the independent dance group Colectivo Clá. In 2014, he received the Best Company Dance Award in Costa Rica. He has been invited to various workshops and has presented his work at festivals in many countries, including China, Australia, France, Russia, Belgium, Spain, Mexico, Panama, Argentina, El Salvador, Colombia, and Costa Rica.
